• Question: whats it like being around nucular engery for long amounts of time?

      The office I work in doesn’t store any radioactive material. However if you work around radioactive material you are issued with a dosemeter which counts the activity that the material is giving off and this is logged to ensure you are kept below the threshold of safety.

      Similar to Lulu, I’m not really around nuclear energy. Some areas have risk of radiation as we work with high energy particles but we get a dosimeter as well. This makes sure we stay within a safe limit. Mine after about 6months still reads zero.
