Very varied. Most days I’ll come in around 10am, grab a coffee, catch up on emails and any messages from my work groups. If I have time after that I may start looking into one of the projects I’m working on, depending where I left off until lunch around 1pm. Join friends for lunch at one of the work cafeterias for an hour then back to the project until home time.

This will be broken up with coffee breaks, meeting with colleagues passing through CERN from abroad, hosting outreach events (like tours) and joining group meetings. My schedule is very flexible and other than some meetings, mostly up to me to design. This is both great and terrible, depending on how motivated I’m feeling 🙂
