For the zoo keeper one, my parents heavily encouraged me to go to university to the point of sort of peer pressuring me into it. I think if I honestly didn’t want to continue studies/ wasn’t suited, they wouldn’t have and I wouldn’t have given in. I decided I’d give university a go and worst case I could change my mind and go back to some other plan.

Mechanic, the further I got into physics and such the more I realised I wasn’t suited for hands on activities. I enjoy them very much as a hobby but things tend to break around me. I was also worried about the physicality of it as a woman who is fairly weak and not very motivated to change that. I was also discouraged at school from such subjects as classes were 100% male. I regret giving into that fear so I’m also big on promoting more women in these subjects.
