Lulu Buford answered on 12 Nov 2019:

I did a nuclear design project as part of my final year at university. Until then, I had little experience in nuclear and wasn’t aware how chemical engineers could contribute to the industry. However it opened my eyes to how powerful (literally) nuclear is and how its fuel has involved most notably in recent years. I decided it would be a good industry to get into because it is really in its own category of energy sources and I used my most recent knowledge to help me secure a job.
