      Hi!
      I think if you have the opportunity to do some hands on work in a real organisation it is totally worth it. Hopefully you learn a lot that is relevant to your study and future jobs. Even if the experience is not what you wanted it to be, that is still useful to know to help your future decisions.
      It can also be something useful on a CV to differentiate you from other candidates.
